Zain Shaw
Mr. Zain Shaw was born and raised as a lifetime resident of the community of Chester, PA
He is a 1991 graduate of Chester High School. At the age of 36 he still holds three
records at Chester High. Zain holds the records for 69 points scored in one game, 883
points in one season, and the all-time leading scorer in Chester High history with 1,993
points in an entire high school career.
Zain obtained a full basketball scholarship and attended Allegany Community College.
In his first year he took Allegany to 1st team all region in JUCO. His second year at
Allegany he prospered with academic honor roll and led Allegany to the semi-final
championship in 1992.
His success at Allegany Community College led him to another full basketball
scholarship to West Virginia University. He continued to achieve academic honor roll at
West Virginia University and strengthen his game for the WVU mountaineers.
He is the top contributor to the community’s basketball movement and a key piece to
FiDonce player development.
