
Derrell Wells
Mr. Derrell Wells is a distinguished businessman in the community of Delaware County,PA. His innovative
business management skills continue to make a difference in the lives of the people both in and out of the city
of Chester. As co-founder of the Chester division of Toys for Tiny Tots, a member of the Linwood Lodge #87
FAM and the Delaware Chamber of Commerce, he introduces new life into the community.
Wells has a clear eye for business and attended Delaware Technical and Community College, in Criminal
Justice and Business Management. He is also certified by the New Castle County Board of Realtors. In
addition, he encompasses a wealth of information from his attendance at several business seminars and
training programs including Trump University Courses and Robert Allen’s Real Estate Institutions.
In February of 2000, Wells quick sense of business empowered him to establish his very own company, DVW
Properties. He then partnered with real estate investment company, Shinestar Properties in 2004, and
continues to preserve a successful venture in the Real Estate Industry.
In business and athletics, the environment of Mr. Wells equals victory.
As former president of the Chester Youth Flag Football League, Wells operates with the mission to build kids
from the ground up and teach them proper skills while providing a safe and educational environment. Wells
ticking competitive edge was born on the 1993 Mount Pleasant High School team, as he held the varsity team
captain position and defensive specialist role. He went on to play semi-pro football with the Media Mustangs
for a championship season in 1999. In addition Wells was a member of the rough touch league in Chester,
gaining three divisional championships.
As an active lineman, Wells has already gained two divisional championships as in the PTTFL (Philadelphia
Two-hand Touch Football League) Native to the Chester born program, “Camp Umoja Nia” which combines
violence prevention workshops with basketball, Wells committed four years of coaching to lead the 2002 team
to championship title. He now transmits his influences into the mentoring of FiDonce player development
clients.
As the President of FiDonce United inc (Non-Profit org),Wells continues to make a positive impact of success
in all of his social and economic surroundings.
